What did you use for all the color in the background? It's so pretty!

I'm glad you love it!

The stuff in the background is simply a MASSIVE vertical jar of paper stars. The light shining onto the paper-stars jar is a little brighter than the light illuminating the spectacles, and that is what gives the colors the pop. Had the subject been brighter, it's vividness and sparkle would've been considerably less, so it's good to angle your desk lamp a little bit towards the background and then expose for the subject!
